It's all fun and games until your jeans don't fit!

Let's face it, we all try to hide our "size" with flattering clothes and slimming jeans. We avoid the carnival rides we think we're over the weight limit for to avoid the embarrassment of being asked not to ride. We order salads and healthy meals when out on a date thinking "they won't notice my addiction to food" and we honestly believe it. But then there comes that day when you think you're hiding it so well that you're actually feeling quite good about yourself and you catch a glimpse of yourself in a store window and you think to yourself "is that REALLY me? Am I really that big? How did I let it go this far?" Then, your every thought begins to revolve around who sees it too. Does my family see it? Why haven't they said anything? Why didn't they try to stop me? Do they even care about me? We've all been there, the start of a very depressing time in your life where you either decide to wallow in self pity until some magic pill or drink comes along and 'fixes' it for you, or you decide this is not who I am and you get off your butt and start doing something about it because there is no magic drug that will 'fix' this for you. You got yourself in this place of unhealthy eating habits, sugar addictions, and binge eating, it's up to you to find a way out. Now I am not saying these addictions are not serious and I am definitely not saying it's easy to get over them, if even possible. I have a major addiction to sweets and I struggle with that daily! There will be a post called Making Excuses Burns ZERO Calories that will introduce you to me, my family, my struggles, and the start of my journey. Just know that you are not alone and this is not how you have to live the rest of your life!! Follow along with me and I will walk along side you in a way I wish I had someone with me!

Much love y'all! Until next time,

Kay
