These Thunder Thighs Will Be the Death of Me

As most of you have already read, I wasn't able to go for a run yesterday and I'll elaborate as to why. Since I've lost so much weight, I do have some loose skin which has been causing quite a few issues. If you don't want to know about the gross parts, stop reading now and wait for the next one. Those who need to know the good AND the bad, let's continue.

So yesterday, I woke up at 5am ready to get dressed to go for a run. I hadn't done laundry this week yet because I had been working a crazy schedule and honestly just hadn't gotten around to it.. That being said, I thought my "workout pants" were in the laundry room in the basket but I couldn't find them anywhere!! Those are my favorite pants to workout in because they are tight on my thighs. When I run, or even when I walk for that matter, the loose skin on my thighs slap together and it's really painful! I apologize if that's TMI but it's the hard truth!

I will be going in to see my PCM on the 16th and I will be bringing it up to him but until then, I have to be very careful not to rub myself completely raw so that I can continue to run daily! Hopefully, he will see that it is an issue and maybe see if my insurance can help cover the cost of removing the skin.

On another note, I've begun thinking about what number I will stop at on the scale and how to maintain until the removal of the stomach skin is completed, and I have concluded that I have no idea lol. I am not really sure how much the extra skin will weigh and/or how it will look afterwards as in, if it will look sickly or not if I loose too much! I guess that's a question for my surgeon next month. I don't have a specific number I have to be but I'd like to be close to a healthy weight when I have the skin removal done as I don't want to loose a lot more after getting it done.

I went to the local Goodwill last week and got some better fitting clothes for work, so hopefully, that will help out on the daily issues and I will have to continue looking for some workout clothes so that I can keep running every day! Wish me luck? lol

Lastly, I haven't gotten around to getting September's measurements yet but I am hoping hubby will help me with those this week!! Updates will come as soon as I get them done.

Much love y'all. Until next time,

Kay
